DARWEN RUNNING GROUP
Pete & Sarah have been involved in setting up this group which
is aimed at introducing beginners to running with a group.
Starting from the Leisure Centre in Darwen on Monday evenings the numbers seem to
be growing nicely. If you know someone who fancies running with a group but doesn’t
feel ready to join a club then this may be a good option for them.
NAVIGATION WEEKEND
10 Dashers braved the somewhat, unseasonal weather near Lake Coniston, to brush up on their navigational skills. Julian & Kath mixed a series of simple games in the village hall with real exercises on the fells to put the knowledge into practice.
Of course navigation is thirsty work so hydration & sustenance were sought in both the Red Lion and the Farmers Arms. Another classic, Dashers weekend. PICS
